School Meals
Children at Diggle School can either have a packed lunch brought from home, or order a school meal.
We are a nut-free school so no packed lunches or food provided by the catering team must contain any nut products. The catering team can accommodate any dietary or medical circumstances – please make sure you as a parent communicate any medical or dietary needs when your child starts school with us, and update us on any changes throughout their time here.
Lunches are ordered by the children at morning registration. Lunches are made to order fresh each day by our excellent onsite catering team. Children in classes R, 1 and 2 currently receive universal free school meals, and children in Year 3 upwards pay for their lunches, which is managed via ParentPay. Where payment is required, please keep your lunch account in credit.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be entitled to means-tested free school meals. For more information see the Oldham Council website for more information.
